I created an email template called “Blank Email Template” … When I go into any client, click on their email address to send mail, and then select the template, the text in the body of the email shows BLACK (I am on a dark background theme). However, once I send the email, and go into my email client to see the send message, the text is the correct color. How do I fix this?
Hi @dahauss,
It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with the text color in your email template when using a dark background theme. While the text appears black during composition, it seems to render correctly once sent.
Unfortunately, the documentation doesn’t provide a direct fix for this specific issue. However, I recommend checking if you are using web-safe fonts like Arial, Georgia, or Verdana, as these tend to render more consistently across different email clients.
If the problem persists, our team is here to help you further troubleshoot this issue.

Hi @dahauss,
It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with the text color in your emails. According to our documentation, the default color mode for email messages is set to Black & White. If you want to change the appearance of your emails, you might want to check the Color Mode setting under Printer Services.
If you’re still having trouble or need further assistance, please let us know, and our team would be happy to help!

I am not trying to change the appearance. When I use the specific template I created the text shows black on a black background while I am typing. It is the correct color once sent and I look in my sent messages in my email client on desktop and phone.
Resolved… I fixed my template which resolved the issue I reported
