Test long code?

Scott, can you explain what is supposed to happen with the LONG CODE for TEXT in settings? I tried a test to see if I could send a message to it, but nothing was received. Please explain… Dave

Hi Dave,

The LONG CODE for TEXT in your settings is used for sending automated SMS messages to your clients based on the templates you’ve set up. If you didn’t receive a message when testing, it could be due to a few factors:

  1. Message Status: Ensure that the message status is set to “Enabled.”
  2. Recipient Selection: Check that you’ve selected the correct recipient (like “Your Cell” for testing).
  3. Trigger Criteria: Make sure the event type and status match the criteria set for the message to be sent.

If you’ve checked all these and are still having issues, please reach out to our support team for further assistance!

Yes, need additional support

Hi @dahauss,

It sounds like you need some additional support with testing long code. While the documentation doesn’t specifically address long code testing, I recommend using the Widget Playground to test widgets and ensure they function correctly before embedding them. This can be a great way to verify your code in a controlled environment.

If you have specific issues or need further assistance, please let us know, and our team would be happy to help!
