SMS through gigbuilder

I sent a SMS though gigbuilder and I get a notification at the top when I login but should I not get a text on my phone that the person replied back to my txt?

When you send an SMS through Gigbuilder, you should receive a notification in the system, but replies from your clients may not automatically come to your phone as a text message. To ensure you receive SMS alerts, you need to check the settings in the System Notifications section.

Make sure your mobile phone numbers are set to permit SMS. If they are set to “No SMS,” you won’t receive text replies.

Where do I set permit SMS number?

To set the SMS number for your Gigbuilder account, you can navigate to the Company Information section under System Notifications. There, you will find fields labeled Mobile Phone 1 / 2, where you can choose to permit SMS for each number.

Additionally, if you’re looking to configure which outgoing SMS number your clients see, you can do that in the SMS Number Configuration section. You have the option to select from three different numbers.

@admin I have permit SMS set but I do not think it’s working. Does something else need to be sit on like the client or event?

Ashley is first level support – seems we may have a bug. What exactly isn’t working and what can I do to repeat it?

I send a text through gigbuilder to one of my clients for one of the events in a couple days later I never got a text on my cell phone saying that I had a reply back from that person but when I logged into gig builder I did have a notification on the top right-hand corner saying that he had replied back to my text but I never saw it on my phone

Thanks for reporting this, Charles. I understand how frustrating it is when incoming replies appear in your Gigbuilder notifications but don’t forward to your phone — you shouldn’t have to constantly check the CRM to catch client replies.

I’ve escalated this directly to our technical team so they can investigate the SMS reply forwarding. They’ll check why the incoming texts aren’t reaching your phone while the notifications are still appearing in the system.

You’re welcome! To send SMS through Gigbuilder, you can set up your mobile phone numbers for SMS and voice call alerts in the Company Information section under System Notifications. You can choose to permit SMS for each number individually.

Additionally, you can automate SMS messages using the Scheduled Text Messages feature, which allows you to send reminders and notifications based on event triggers.

I have the same issue. I do not know if the client is responding to TEXT MESSAGES sent from Gigbuilder as i do not see any notifications.
