I just had a client pay by credit card and gigbuilder did not separate the credit card fees, so the balance due is less then it should be. How can I resolve this?
Hi @dahauss,
It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with credit card fees not being separated from the payment amount. This can sometimes happen if the payment was processed as a Simple Transaction instead of an Event Transaction.
To ensure that credit card fees are reflected correctly, make sure to process payments linked to specific events using the Event Transaction option. This way, the payment will be automatically recorded on the event’s financial tab.
If the issue persists or if you need further assistance, please let us know, and our team will be happy to help!

How to fix? Client signed agreement and it brought them to payment. I use PayPal.
How would a client use the “Event Transaction option” when they get a payment link? The next time they pay balance, it’s going to be for more then the balance since its not reflecting fees. I had to manually adjust so I could send the proper receipt that reflects proper balance.
