A walkthrough of the GB Music page — Gigbuilder’s curated, network-wide song database. This explainer covers how to get there from the homepage, what the page shows, how to find a specific song or browse by category, what’s inside the song detail panel, and how to export a list to your DJ software.
What you’ll see (about 3 minutes):
- Getting there — Homepage → Media → GB Music.
- What’s on the page — five columns (Count, Title, Artist, Year, Genre), sorted by network-wide request count by default. The Count column is the popularity signal — Cupid Shuffle, Sweet Caroline, and Uptown Funk sit at the top.
- Finding a specific song — type into the search box, or use the view selector dropdown to switch between Decades, Top 100, Wedding, and other curated lists.
- Song details — click a song to open the off-canvas panel. Album art, an embedded YouTube music video, an audio preview player, and scrolling lyrics.
- Exporting + next steps — export the visible list as M3U, VDJ, or CSV for your DJ software. Remember: GB Music is read-only — to add or edit your own songs, head to My Music.
