We’d like to request an enhancement for the client chat widget: whenever a client initiates a chat, the manager should receive an automatic notification (e.g., via email or a dashboard alert). This will help managers stay on top of conversations and respond promptly. The notification should include the client’s name, contact details, and the chat subject.

Benefits: Faster response times, better client satisfaction, and easier tracking of active chats.

Implementation Ideas:

  • Hook into the chat start event and trigger a notification API call.
  • Configurable notification preferences for each manager.
  • Option to snooze or dismiss alerts.
