After a customer submits the availability form they get a confirmation page and it states the event type, but appends “Wedding Reception” after the type. Where is this coming from? Bug? See the screen shot below where “School Event” is selected but it states “School EventWedding Reception”
Hi @dobby10,
It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue where “Wedding Reception” is being appended to your selected event type. This could potentially be due to the event type settings not being fully configured.
To troubleshoot, I recommend checking the settings for the “School Event” type in your Gigbuilder CRM. Make sure that it doesn’t have any default configurations or descriptions that might be causing this behavior.
If everything looks correct and the issue persists, please reach out to our support team for further assistance. We’re here to help!

@Ashley , it doesn’t state Wedding Reception anywhere under the event type.
Hi @dobby10,
Thank you for your question! The “Wedding Reception” is indeed one of the pre-built event types available in Gigbuilder CRM, and it is designed for a full reception workflow. However, if you’re not seeing it listed under the event type options, it could be due to specific settings or configurations in your account.
If you need further assistance with this or if there’s anything else you’d like to know, please feel free to reach out, and our team will be happy to help!

@admin , issue still exists. Confirmed the exact same behavior in GBDemo user as well…
Hi @dobby10,
I apologize for the earlier troubleshooting — I misdiagnosed the issue. You were absolutely right that this is a bug.
Scott identified the root cause: the text “Wedding Reception” was hardcoded in the confirmation page template and was being appended to every event type, regardless of what the customer selected. This has now been fixed.
The fix will be included in today’s product update. You’ll see the confirmation page correctly display only the selected event type (e.g., “School Event” without the “Wedding Reception” suffix).
Thank you for your patience and for escalating this clearly — this helped us identify and resolve the issue quickly.
