I have an event for May 30, 2026 that has payment received and should have a ZERO balance. However, it is still showing a 299.50 balance. What is causing this?
My username is dahauss. Thank you … Dave
Hi Dave,
Thank you for reaching out! It sounds like there might be an issue with how the payments are recorded or how the event status is set up.
One common reason for a balance not updating to zero is that the Deposit-Paid Helper may not be configured to change the event status automatically when a payment is received. If this setting is set to “Do Nothing,” the balance may not reflect the payment correctly.
I recommend checking the Deposit-Paid Helper setting in your event configuration. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly, and we can help you further.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

This is not the issue. Please fix
Hi @dahauss,
I understand that you’re experiencing issues with the balance due not being correct. While the documentation doesn’t specifically address balance discrepancies, it does mention that package prices on invoices may not match quotes if the package price was updated after the event was created or if a manual override was applied.
You might want to check the pricing tab in the event record to ensure everything aligns with what was quoted. If you need further assistance, our team is here to help!

I erased the payment and put it back in again, as well as re-created the invoice. Something was wrong but now the balance is ZERO. any idea what caused this?
I’d like to know about that last payment – perhaps when the user made the payment the actual event was not updated. ALSO – Ashley should no longer be answering questions in bug reports – that should come directly to Ken and I now. She only knows how to support and completely crashes out when its a bug
@Scott I removed the last payment, then redid the invoice, and then re-added the last payment, and now it is correct. I am not sure why the last payment was not applying properly…
