SMTP failed after switching over to new hosting

Since I switched over to gig builder hosting I cannot send an email to my client it says SMTP failed due to permissions pwithin gig builder.

Hi @DjGeekusa,

It sounds like you’re experiencing issues with SMTP permissions after switching to Gigbuilder hosting. Based on our documentation, I recommend sticking with Gigbuilder’s built-in mail server, as it is reliable and includes delivery notifications. If you have switched to an external SMTP provider, make sure your settings are configured correctly.

You can use the Test Email button to check if your SMTP settings are functioning properly. If you continue to face issues, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

Let me know if you need any more help!

Where is the test email button

Hi @DjGeekusa,

The Test Email button is a handy feature you can use whenever you change your SMTP settings. It allows you to verify that everything is working correctly before sending out actual client emails.

If you’re having trouble finding it, it may be located in the email settings section of your hosting control panel. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out, and our team will be happy to help!

Best,

@Scott can we fix this? This is a gigbuilder issue not web hosting issue

I never noticed but when I send an email to client it comes from digeekusa@gigbuilder.com can it not come from sales@dj-geek.com?
